Workplace spirituality is a construct widely discussed over the past few decades and it is a much-disputed inquiry field which is gaining the interest of practitioners and scholars. Pawar Published Purpose — This paper aims to examine the direct effects of three workplace spirituality aspects — meaning in work, community at work, and positive organizational purpose — and individual spirituality on three work attitudes — job satisfaction, job involvement, and organizational commitment. It also seeks to examine the interactive effects of these three workplace spirituality aspects and individual spirituality on these three work attitudes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh positif langsung spiritualitas kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah responden yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: adanya pengaruh positif langsung spiritualitas kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dosen. Sebagai implikasi dari temuan penelitian ini adalah bahwa meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan spiritualitas kerja dosen harus dipertimbangkan.

Journal of Management Inquiry, 9, ABSTRACT: The article is aimed at examining the effect of corporate philanthropy on employees' organization commitment and job performance through the angle of workplace spirituality. For this purpose, the data were collected from employees working in different corporations in Beijing. By regression analysis, we found that corporate philanthropy had a positive effect on organization commitment and job performance, meanwhile workplace spirituality played a partly mediating role. All the alternate hypotheses of the study were accepted.
